To upload Gray Literature to PICO Portal, go to your project dashboard and navigate to Settings > Upload > PICO Portal (Excel, csv) download (click the blue download link). This will download a CSV file that you can manually modify with your article information. It will be populated with examples that you can delete.
Fill out as much information as you can, however the title column is the only required information (all other columns are optional). Additionally, if the only information you input is the DOI, once the CSV file is uploaded to PICO Portal, the system will take the DOI and find the article and rest of its information from OpenAlex. It is not necessary to fill out the other columns if you have the DOI, however it is good practice to include the title for your own reference.
To upload your completed CSV file, navigate to Settings > Upload > drag and drop CSV into “Upload File” > click the “Upload” button > select PICO Portal as the source file format.
