PICO Portal was founded as a solution to address the growing need of fast-paced and high-quality research catalyzed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
A group of highly skilled researchers identified the value of implementating machine learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms for systematic review of scientific literature to accelerate the generation of evidence critical to our understanding of science.
From its inception, PICO Portal’s mission has been to transform research findings into decision-ready evidence with ease.
Offering a new kind of platform that enables researchers to drastically improve their review process, our team applied our background in leading financial technologies, machine learning and software development to develop cutting-edge solutions for the research industry.
The result is PICO Portal, a state-of-the-art evidence synthesis platform with a modern user interface, mobile support and a flexible workflow that intelligently automates tasks such as deduplication, identifying non-RCT articles and highlighting keywords.
