What is PICO Portal PLUS+ Certification?

PICO Portal PLUS+ Certification certifies skilled use of the PICO Portal platform. You are tested on abstract screening, full-text screening and risk of bias in a sample review project. When you pass, you can show that you are PICO Portal PLUS+ Certified, join a community of like-minded research professionals, and be considered for the PICO Portal PLUS+ network and its project work.
Qualified professionals should have strong familiarity with systematic review methods and exposure to:
- Develop, document, and execute search strategies
- Screen titles and abstracts
- Review full-text articles
- Conduct data extraction
- Conduct Risk of Bias assessment
- Perform evidence mapping
- Be comfortable learning and using new software applications
If you are passionate about evidence synthesis, apply to begin your free certification. Once accepted, you complete the program on your own schedule, within four weeks. When you pass, you receive a certificate confirming that you are PICO Portal PLUS+ Certified.
